I would suggest that you start waving a selection of good stout hardened wood's in front of her fur covered snout. Perhaps tease her a little and reward her when she actually bites down hard on your proffered wood. You may want to stroke your beaver to make her feel relaxed, always remembering a relaxed Beaver is a happy Beaver! And she'll soon forget the Mackerel and be happily chomping on any wood you might want to feed her I hope this helps in the hand rearing of your Beaver.

shave and bath beaver and give health massages and feed it lots of tongue apply lotions that heat the the beavers skin this ought to do it . If still not hungery beaver may be a cat eater or just plain frozen.
