Avoid heavy cleansing creams. Avoid the use of harsh soaps or cleansers that dry your skin out too much it reacts by producing more oil! Gel cleansers would be good for you. Use an oil-free moisturizer. Your skin should never feel taught/tight or dehydrated.

There are compaines out there, whatever your budget is, that have products designed for oily skin that work together.

L'Oreal makes Pure Zone you can find in drugstores
Neotrogena also has great stuff. www.neutrogena.com
Murad www.murad.com

Carry in your purse oil blotting sheets for quick touch ups throughout the day.

If it's real bad, you may need to see a dermatologist.

I have oily skin as well but one thing that I have noticed is that regardless how oily your skin is you should still use moisturiser

Your face lotion should be oil free
along with your makeup products

If you are using a soap or toner that causing drying that can cause your face to produce extra oils as well.

Sweetie,

It's not recommended to wash your face more than twice A DAY! (even if we do have oily skin)....

I've yet to figure out how to control the oil secretion or found an oil-control product that works?

wash with face wash and water. Pat dry and you must use toner and a moisturiser to sort out oily skins

Try the Blue corn 3 in 1 deep cleansing scrub mask from the body shop. Apply it to your whole face and wait about 10 mins., then wash it all off. It really works, try it! Use it once a week.

my skin is normal and soap dries it. if you use soap it might take the oil away. also, use moisturizers that are not oil based.
p.s. if its extreeemly oily, use rubbing alcohol all over your face, but be careful, it's strong, but it does take oil away...so do whatever you think is best. but if you use it, only like 2 times a week, cuz if you do it more, your skin will get so urgh!

use a soap with more bubbles, because it will"dry out your skin" but if its oily, i would guess that it would maybe regulate it
