It starts hurting a little bit into the swim. I get sinus infections a lot and need to use it, but there's no infection on the site. It just hurts while I'm using it, and about a minute after I remove it.

Take the nose clip off. Breath out of your nose. No problems.

why dont you try to get a new nose clip. or you can try to use a swim mask. If not why dont you ask what type of nose clip would suit you better if you go to a shop where they specialize in swim gear. or if not you can try one of those nose clips that have alittle bit of padding on it. maybe it will work for you.

Actually... you might want to give a swim mask a try... noseclips are pretty invasive, I'll post a link to a very good swim mask... ever since they cover your nose it will mostly stay dry and it will stop the infections from water coming in as well as taking care of your pain problems. Check it out.

maybe you should try to swimming without trying to use anything to cover your nose cause there is always a disadvantage in each product you try to use to cover your nose while swimming and you feel more comfortable
