Are you referring to the earning income tax credit? If so, limits would depend on filing status and qualifying children. For example, filing single with no qualifying child in 2005 the limit was $11,750 and the maximum credit was $399.

This will depend on how many are in your family and how many kids you have. The amount changes with each individual that lives with you. As the amount of people goes up so does the amount that you can make.

Are you talking about Disability? I think it's $800, but check with the Social Security people to be sure. You don't want to do anything to mess that up.
