It isn't right. It is a double standard.

I think the United States should make it a policy to hunt down the families of the terrorists who do this kind of thing and do the same things to their loved ones. In the past, when this kind of thing has been done, it has worked every time. Suddenly, the terrorism stops. We would only have to do it once. However, the West had been weakened by political correctness. These people want to destroy Western civilization and kill all of us, even the "enlightened" elite who criticize such approaches. Wake up, liberals, we are fighting for our very existence and you are targets, too!

May God bless and keep you.

It is very simple if the US tortures what have they brought to the Iraqi people, nothing. They were tortured by Sadam now they are tortured by the US. Whn you go to another country and say you are defending a set moral principles and that you wish to bring those principles to the people of that country then you would be hypocritical for acting in the worst light of those more principles. Also, for those who think that torture or blancket punishment of a people would reduce the number of terrorist you are wrong. All it does is breed more hatred and resentment. Those of you who defend US soldiers who would torture and rape in Iraq becuase they have seen fellow soldiers killed by bombs, would you defend the family of that girl who was raped, murdered, and set on fire for setting off a bomb to kill as many US soldiers as possible. Or what about the men who where humiliated in Abu Ghariab should they claim that they now have a right to kill and hurt American soldiers. Of course in all these situations the actions would be and are morally repuganant. Look at the world around you. The numbers of the terrorists have gone up not down since the war against terrorism has started. Allainces that were never dreamed of between various group are being formed. Anti-Americanism is on the rise and support of these groups is also on the rise amongst the general populations throught the middle east. The only way to end this madness is for everyone to sit down and realize what the root cause of all the problems are. Rhetoric and generalized statments make for good nightly news stories but will never end the bloodshed.

May God bring peace to earth in our lifetime.

And just exactly where would it end? If we condone it abroad, it is only a matter of time until it is practiced at home. When we label someone "terrorist" we seem to think we've already signed their death warrant, indeed death is too good for them. But what is in a label? A 14 year old all American boy was labeled "terrorist" by his school because he got in a heated argument at his middle school with another schoolmate. He went before a judge to answer for his words and was put on probation with the term "terrorist" entered into his permanent record. So what gives anyone the right to label anyone? What about another label which seems to mean very little, and imply no certain code of moral conduct: President.

what's the reason of the those that oppose such measures? Is it a human top concern...they sense greater sympathetic to those who could kill without reason than conserving the rustic? And what no count number if it is not approximately protection? What if it somewhat is in hassle-free terms a count number of having "revenge" or retribution for what befell on 9/11? So what? Why could my sympathies lie with the terrorists? I easily don't get why everyone who lives in this united states of america, why everyone who enjoys the freedoms of this united states of america, why everyone who enjoys the probabilities afforded in this united states of america could oppose it. And in case you do no longer think of which you have those freedoms or possibilities, then in line with possibility you will desire to easily leave the rustic. in line with possibility you will desire to circulate to the worldwide places the place they torture no longer in hassle-free terms enemy warring events yet their very own and protest and notice in case you get something different than a bullet contained in the pinnacle. And the 8 modification fact above refers back to the form... A rfile that components the framework for the guidelines afforded human beings, no longer the terrorists from the middle east that have been water boarded. in case you opt to be conscious the form, then enable's make all of them electorate....yet then i'm helpful that appears like a super concept to those who sense sorry for them......

We have too many people in this world that throw a fit if we want to sentence a person to death. Saying it's not right. I say it is. I say if they mess with us, your dang right were going to rip your eyes out. I think if a person kills another person, they should be killed. I also think if a person rapes another person or child that they should be castrated immediately. Why put them back on the streets to kill or rape again? It's stupid. There is a innocent person that is going to go through this just because their are ignorant people out there. Terrorist don't care about us, why should we care about them?

We lose the war if we lose the moral high ground.

How can we possibly expect countries to embrace giving
control over to an elected government, if they believe that
their government will be as immoral as previous regimes?

Regardless of whether you believe we should be fighting this
war or not: It is *NOT* a land grab. We are not simply trying
to destroy another people. We are trying to bring a
demonstrably better way of life to them. We will fail if we
do not show them that it is demonstrably better.

So are you trying to say that the rape and murder of that very young teenage girl is justifiable for what some other countries citizen's were reliable for? I would live in constant fear of being murdered or rape if US solders were patrolling the streets right here in the US after hearing about the sick things some soldiers do over seas.

Are you saying that it's OK for Americans to be tortured. If not then that is the reason we should not do it to others.
