was wondering if anyone else has pets that like to watch TV. If so Tell me about your pet and the show he likes to watch.
One of my cats watches bits of tv. He's like a little kid. He runs to the TV to watch commercials, espcially if they have other cats or are animated...And he LOVES the scene in Shrek2 where Puss coughs up the hairball...stops what hes doing everytime to watch it.

My Jack Russell Terrier watches TV. He doesn't have a particular show that he likes to watch, he jumps at the screen and barks whenever he sees another animal. He does the same thing to certain commercials, when he hears familiar music, he will come running and start barking at the TV. What goes on in his mind is a mystery.

I have a chinchilla who loves to watch TV. If we do not leave it on when we go to bed, he will cry until i come pet him or turn the tv back on. In the mornings and evenings he sits in a top corner of his cage where he can see the tv good. He doesnt seem to be as interested in people on the tv but seems to like animals and animation.

My golden retriever isn't an avid watcher of TV, but will definitely scoot to the front of the room the moment a dog comes on the screen. I love putting on Animal Planet and just watching him run to the TV to lick the screen.

I have a dog that LOVES watching other dogs on the tv. Her favorite thing to watch is a dog show. She'll watch it intently with her chin rested on the table with the tv on it so she can clearly see it with little effort. During commercials, she prances around like the dogs in the ring!

My cat likes to watch movies. She doesn't watch programming on tv. When I pop in a movie, she'll be right there. I think her favorite is Secret Window.

My Yorkie-Poo watches TV, I leave it on for him during the day so he can hear the voices and not be so lonely when we are gone. One time i was watching Maury Povich with him, and this really pretty lady came on the screen. Jack,my little ferocious Yorkie-poo, sat straight up and started growling and barking at her image on the screen. OMG it was weird. The next clip showed why he was so upset. She was a child molester and murderer. He is such a good judge of character. He meets all of my daughter's friends, if he doesn't like them, then i am extra wary of them. Funny thing is... he's usually right!!!!

No, my cat doesn't pay any attention to the TV usually, unless a loud sound comes from it suddenly while he's sleeping. Even then, he just gives it a glance and then goes back to sleeping!
