What can I do about this?

When I shave my legs it hurts, nothing else hurts when I shave it? Is there a product I should or shouldnt be using? A certain razor?
:-(

The same used to happen to me, my skin would get so irritated from shaving that I would have to wait a while to shave again so it wouldn't get worst. Finally I decided to try Nair depilatory cream, you leave it on for 3 minutes and wipe it off and the hair is gone. I love it and now I use it for my underarms, arms and bikini area because it's painless and works wonders. Try it in a small area first to make sure you are not allergic to it, but really it's a great alternative to shaving. Good luck

I had the same thing happening, it turned out I was allergic to the Skintamate shaving cream. Try another shaving cream for a while to see if it stops. If not make sure you're wetting your razor a good amount when you shave and go up your legs against the hair growth, also make sure you're using a good amount of shaving cream.

Maybe you shave your legs too often. My sister, who shaves waayy too much, kinda ripped her skin. Try appling some lotion or a soothing kind of cream when finished. I'm not sure about finding a certain razor...Is there really a difference in razors? I don't shave. Maybe you should stop too. You know, give your legs a break.

how often are you shaving? You should shave no more than every other day. Are you using shaving cream? Shaving cream acts as a layer of skin so the real first layer doesnt get taken off. Are you moisterizing after AND before you shave? You might have dry skin there and a moisterizer would help.

I use bath gel and shave in the shower, and a very sharp razor. If it is getting dull, it will drag.

I cannot put lotion on after as it stings. Might mean I am shaving too close, but I am hairy, and have to shave every other day to deter the nubs.

Always use a moisturizing shave cream while shaving and wash yuor legs with a mild soap afterwards. Once done apply a sootihng lotion like something with Feverfew or Aloe in it. Your legs are irritated

It might be the razor you are using. Make sure its not a cheap one. And make sure you are using some shaving gel or something. I find that conditioner that u use your for your hair is great for the legs. Leaves your legs even smoother and softer.

Maybe you've got ingrown hairs, and when you shave it causes them to hurt/bleed? In that case, you should scrub your legs thoroughly with something that has tiny beads like apricot scrub...that should get rid of the ingrown hairs. then shave and see if it's better.

you could be allergic to the shaving cream you're using, go to the doctor and have your blood tested for allergies.

I'd switch to a hair removal cream like veet or nair if I were you
