who would make the best captain full time? i personally feel Strauss should be the captain for the ashes. he's been a great captain this series.

it has 2 b strauss.
did well as a captain in d last series, cool minded. temperamental, team man, moreover a complete batsmen.
it shouldn't b flintoff
loose tempered, weighs his own performance more than others, moreover very few all rounders have succeeded as a great captain.
successful captains r mostly batsman. or may b a bowler 2 some extent. but hardly any all rounder except kapil dev.

Strauss has to be the captain. If we see the last series then I will prefer Strauss. He knows more about feilding positions. And so I say he should lead the team. Mostly good captains are commonly batsmen,in rare cases only bowlers become captains.

Strauss has more technical knowledge bout fielding positions better with the bat and it might take some strain off flintoff if he remains captain for the ashes after he led us to victory against a good Pakistan side

I think Strauss he is a very good batsman and as he showed in this series he is a very good and comfortable captain

Strauss. Good cricket brain, and will know when to bowl Flintoff and when to rest him. Also captaincy inhibited FLintoff's hitting as a batsman.
