If that is their choice, they love their country and have family there so I'm sure some will return.Others will remain in their new adopted country that they have come to love.I think its more of a personal choice.
I am not Cuban,or Hispanic, but the man Tom Casey a state department spokesman calling Fidel Castro's brother
Raul Castro..."Fidel Light"offended me and was not conducive to a good working relationship with Cuba if Castro does indeed die and Raul Castro becomes the true leader of Cuba.A little less sarcasm and more diplomacy is warranted.
I feel the embargo should already have been lifted ,what good has it done the poor in Cuba, its only harmed them.
people not the government of Cuba.

You expensive defective youthful guy. If Castro dies, we've no longer something yet greater of the comparable until eventually Raul dies. the government won't fail to the go with of the individuals by way of fact Castro or Raul isn't the subject - the U. S. is the subject. there isn't any capability vacuum - Fidel is the capability. If Fidel dies, Raul is the capability. Now with regards to the exiles interior the U. S.. they are third, 4th, 5th era Cubans right here - it incredibly is THEIR living house. They argue and shout approximately returning, yet that's only political manipulation. This team of Cubans has manipulated US coverage in direction of Cuba ever by way of fact the Bay of Pigs. So don't be fooled. no person is going living house. regrettably, the U. S. made Castro the corrupt hero he's in his usa. And we ignored the possibility to render him beside the point whilst the Pope visited Cuba some years in the past. We ignored yet another probability to render him and the communist regime beside the point whilst he gave capability to Raul. All we mandatory to do grow to be only do away with our embargos and sanctions. Cuba might flourish. however the single component combating this variety of circulate are the Miami Cubans. MAKE NO MISTAKE.

Cuba could be the next East Germany for the Cuban Exiles here in the US. They could make money both in the US and in Cuba as well.

Some of the older generation may be likely to return. The younger generation won't return. Look at other generations of immigrants who came to America. Very, very few of them return.

Only if the US would lift the Embargo.

If Cuba becomes a democracy, we can probably see the embargo being lifted. There will be a lot of rebuilding and a lot of money to be made. I sure the expats and everyone else would go to rebuild and to make money. It would take time.

I see a market now for all those vintage cars they're driving.

I think the ones that came 1-3 years ago may go back, but the ones that are already established here won't. I'm sure Gloria Estefan and Christina Saralegui will go and buy their houses back in Cuba at least to go on vacation.

I suspect that many of them will. However, those who have made a success in America might be less willing to leave all that good life behind just to go to a hot, dilapidated wreck of a nation and have to spend their golden years working like donkeys trying to bring back a semblance of graciousness and good economy.

Let's hope for the best, whatever it may be.
