who lives in another country other than your own? how do you feel about that counry when they play?

i'm originally from mexico but live in usa, and no, i don't feel anything for the american national team when they play i don't know why? wait........... i know why, because they eliminated mexico back in 2002!!

I live in germany and the US i felt the same way when germany beat the US national team. But I have to say one of the greatest moments in US soccer history was when we beat mexico in the 2002 only because Mexico is a good team with a great soccer history and great fans!

I dont like the USA loosing 2 any one, except Mexico personaly because i think that mexico is a better team, I am mexican living in the USA and it didint hurt that much when the usa eliminated mexico in 02 wc but it did hurt dont get me wrong, the usa played better that day period! if theres anything i hate about a match is when the better team some how looses?? it happens alot! I cheer USA over ANY ONE except mex, spa, arg, bra these teams are the best in the region so if they lost to the USA it would be like i said the better team loosing the game. note:spain is not in region.

I'm Canadian and live in Canada, but I support the Netherlands and Italy because none of us are very confident about our own football team. Canada only qualified once for the World Cup first round in 1986 (eventually losing every match then).

As a CBC article says:
"Do Canadians even enjoy watching soccer?

There is massive interest in soccer in Canada; there just isn't massive interest in the Canadian national men's soccer team."

I'm from the US but live in London. Before coming here, I would never have cheered for the England team. In fact, usually I would have cheered against them! But after living here for a few years and getting to know their players, I have to admit that I've become something of a fan. Not that I would want them to beat the US in a match, but...

i'm from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia & our national football is just getting worse. the latest FIFA rankings saw our plunging down to no 146. this team was one of Asia's big teams in the 1970's but since then the performances is steadily declining. so pathetic & disappointed. now, when our national team plays at home, the stadium is not even half full, what a shame!!

now we can't even compete with the likes of THAILAND, INDONESIA or SINGAPORE. just look at teams like KOREA REPUBLIC, JAPAN, IRAN & SAUDI ARABIA, they are now getting stronger & compete regularly in the World Cup & AFC Asian Cup.

I'm originally from Italy but living in Canada..Can't say that I feel anything when Canada plays cause they don't know how to play soccer. Their sports are mainly baseball and hockey..but mind you the women soccer players are better than men...LOL

im from argentina but i currently live in the united states. i support the argentina national team 100%...but i also support other teams that i have no relation to like portugal and ukraine. my ancestors from way back are from italy and spain so i support those teams as well.

the US team is one of the worst and i dont support them at all.

PS im not a huge mexican fan myself but i respect them and also those who just hates the US with a passion u must be a jealous because we are developing quickly and thats a fact u cant deny!!

I from Italia, but I currently live in Canada. Honestly, I hate the Canadian team. Probably cuz they don't have SEXY guys like the Italians do!!! lol. I'm all for Italia!! FORZA ITALIA!!
