Even if you can't rinse it off, would you still eat it after it fell on the floor?

Dropped a pancake on my living room floor. Can't rinse it off...Should i eat it still? Isn't there a five second rule or something.. but it sat for almost seven seconds... what would you do?

For the girl who said she would only eat off somewhere where she sits or lies down, in my case even if it was on the couch, my husband comes home and lies naked on ours. And what about when my in-laws come over? No offence to them, but they seem to have bad gas very often... do i eat something off the couch then?

if it looked clean, I would eat it. probably not if it fell syrup side down, though!

Usually when things fall, I eat them anyway if I know the floor has been cleaned or the place it fell is a place I only go sit/lie down at.

I would throw the pancake away since people step on the floor, and too much germs lie on the floor.

Then again, what's the worse that could happen?

I eat things anyway because, I know I'm going to die somehow anyway.

there is a 5 sec rule...but if in those 5 secs the food item in question attracts unknown hair, dirt or insects..u gotta toss it
and considering urs was on the floor for 7 secs...a whole 2 secs after the rule...i say dont eat it

Too bad, you can't eat it. You never know what's on the floor.
Your body is not a garbage can. Put only good food in.
