I'm about to be a senior and I feel like I should. I only palyed basketball for my city's rec league last year and i'll play this year. That will be only 2 years of one sport. I don't think that's enough.

i'm gonna be a senior this year as well and i haven't played any sports throughout high school and i kinda feel like i'm missing something but the only reason i didn't try to join sports is because my school is like the most competitive school ever and it seems like we spend more of our time competing with our selves than with other schools. I mean you even have to compete academically with other people to get a good class rank. It just seems like its too much and a lot of people i know just don't really like it because it just gets too intense. Our school is about WIN WIN WIN, and it gets old fast.

I played for the rec teams ever year. School coaches did less of a workout that the rec coaches did.

I would've liked to. At least at my high school, they wouldn't accept Seniors who were not already on the team because they would be graduating and they didn't want all new players the next year. If you want to play, though, it's not going to hurt to try out. Who knows...you may make the team.

I haven't, and I don't feel bad! Why do you have to do sports to feel like you have accomplished something. You don't leanr anything important from sports. Work on your grades, cause a high GPA is a great accomplishment!

I wish I did play sports in high school. I only played the senior girls powderpuff game and that was it.

Why don't you try out for a few other sports this year. What about basketball and baseball. Or tennis, volleyball or golf.

Are you KIDDING me? I can think of many things to regret were I to waste time doing so, but not having played sports is NOT one of them!

The very idea makes me laugh.

Don't sweat it kid....it's your life, live it for YOU.

Nope. I did plenty of other things to keep me busy and get me a full scholarship to college.
