I'm not sure if it'll work for you but I have periods of really bad break outs then periods of really smooth skin. I usually soap my face with cocoa butter soap from nubian heritage, wash it off with ice cold water to close my poors, rub lemons on my face and then wash the lemon juice off with cold water, then I take ICE and rub it on my face, sounds crazy but works for me. I heard a bunch of beauty techniques so I combined them all into a routine

If your skin is not too sensitive, I would suggest a loofah sponge made especially for the face, or one of those facial spa pads (like Buff Puff) that feel kind of gritty. Dampen the sponge or loofah with warm water. Use a mild facial cleanser with this, and use gentle circular motions. Rinse with warm water, then with cool. Anything more than this could irritate your skin. We all go through bouts of skin problems at times, so don't worry too much (that will only increase the bumps if they are related to stress in your life). Drink at least 8 glasses (8 ounces each) of water a day, to keep your skin hydrated and use the above treatment once a day. You should see improvement in a few days. Good luck!

Water is your friend! The more water you drink, the healthier your skin and hair will look. Aim for at least 64 ounces a day. Use a facial cleanser like noxema and wash your face often.
