I am really hoping he will come back. He was killed in such a weird way that I feel like he will come back in SOME way, even if its not exactly him coming 'back from the dead'. JK Rowling does everything for a reason, if she had wanted Sirius to be dead and stay dead she would have had Bella kill him, not fall into the veil.
Not only that, but JK Rowling has said that the mirrors Sirius gave Harry will play an important part in the next book - maybe because Sirius will use them to contact Harry?

Oh my God, I sure hope so. He was my favorite character! Life without him has been rather boring. I've always hoped he was just stuck in that stupid veil thing. I mean, for Christ's sake, people, the poor guy got one of the most ambiguous, death scenes of all time; lets hope J. K. was only kidding! But, when you really think about it, I guess he never will come back, because Harry has to beat Voldy on his own without any help from Sirius or any of his friends. But J. K. did hint on her site and in an interview that the mirror that Sirius gave Harry is going to be very useful in the end.

Nope remember what Harry was told at the end of the book Order of the Phoenix by the Ghost who is in the service of the house of Gyriffindor. He said that a lot of wizards choose not to be a ghost and that Sirisus Black will not be coming back because once you cross over that veil a wizard's will not come back to this world. As for this Ghost he said he chooses this feeble attempt to live because he is afraid of death.

I think he is dead... But I think that two-way mirror he gave Harry will have a role in the upcoming book!!!!
But Sirius in my opinion, will never come back...

No. He's dead. The ending of Book 5 wouldn't have the same impact if he came back later on.
It's a shame though, he's one of my favorite characters.

Yes. I think that Harry will repair the mirror and be able to talk to him. I hope so. I loved Sirius.
