You are putting all the obstacles for me not to be able play chess.
Everthing opens up up to the point when the chessboard should show up too and ready to play. It either say that I am having too many boards, to quit them or to allow pop-ups even they are allowed all the time.

to fix your problem by doing the following.for cards and board games/yahoo.
yahoo now uses popups to enter rooms,DO NOT turn off popup blocker,no need.if you do you get flooded with popups. click on popup blocker click on always allow.add yahoo.com to list. then the 1st thing you do when you enter lounge is check play small window in option box. if you don't and enter room you get grey screen(,if you leave it ) you get errors in logging in..once in small room you can expand it,,you only see top half of cards but you can play.and see chat area so you can talk to other players.yahoo is now running sales ads in rooms. email them and let them know what you don't like about new format i did, if everyone does this maybe they will stop it. the site to complain is on lounge select page the HELP button at top, feedback! if you are having tiny fonts(letters) its because of java's new update,to fix go to control panel open internet options advance tab, unclick the 2 java listed click apply close.back to normal. if it says error 999 answers and some help found here

You are but a pawn in cyberspace getting rooked, knight and day. Ooooh, bad pun. Use a pun, go to jail. That's the law! Oops, did it again. Sorry. I'll answer your question: It is the Yahoo applet (their little chess program interface that runs on your computer) that seems to be having trouble running correctly on your particular computer, maybe due to your firewall settings. It's mostly Yahoo's fault. A lot of their applets don't work well, they can't get around a firewall or pop-up blocker that isn't even turned on. (Or it could be you have more than one pop-up blocker and don't even know it.) I keep pointing out to Yahoo that there are a lot of good out-of-work programmers out there, but I don't think Yahoo gets the hint. You could try another online chess site. There must be millions of them. Or try removing the applet with the "Remove Software" option in your Control Panel, then re-install it by going to back to the Yahoo Chess site.
