I watch cable because the programming is so much better than Network TV. I prefer the more educational programs found on Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, The Learning Channel, etc.
I'd rather pay for good programming than put up with free garbage.

Unlike the good old days...I guess you have to watch cable or Dish television so you can have good reception....I remember when TV was free and you could only watch local stations like 4,5,7 or 9.....Times were simpler then and in "Black and White"...

Without my cablevision, I wouldn't get any reception on my TV at all. So I need my cable tv because the internet and phone service is connected to it.

more channels that regular and i can watch Big love on cable and listen to tunes and the kids can watch tv and be outta my hair!

Cauz there's better stuff on cable tv then regular. On regular tv there r good shows but at night!!!!

I am in Nepal..lol..very few channels even in Cable..most of them are Indian.chinese and aisan channels..and rest f them r animal planet, natgeo, nick, history..hbo..cinemax, starmovies,bbc,cnn,axn.star world,mtvasia(lol0..totally sucks)..and some sports channels i watch

more reliable than satelite, plus, it's more channels than regular antennae
