No. Both supply and demand are still strong.
From an 'objective' point of view it's probably true that in a world crawling with billions of medium sized mammals (humans), they are a glut on the market and thus in easy supply and thus cheap.
But from the point of view of the vast majority of humans, we each still want to have children who survive to have children of their own - and are thus highly valuable to us.

For the boss, life is cheap as he is profiting from the labor. The only time that is not the case is payday when he has to pay up.
For employees, life isn't cheap, so much to pay and so little time to do his / her job. Again the only time it is cheap is when he / she gets the pay check and asks "That's it? I thought I put in more hours."
The cheapest commodity in modern world is b.s.
Everyone has lots of it. However, it is only cheap when you don't buy into it, otherwise, it is going to be the most expensive thing there is...

thier is always poeple who care about human life but most are besy with thier own life and needs. life is more materialistic
