My son hated tummy time too. He's now 17 months old and he never learned to crawl because he wasn't on his tummy enough. The doctor had me put him on his tummy for 1-2 minutes at a time 4 times a day and try to entertain him with toys. He hated it and screamed and I felt like a bad mommy but after a week of doing it religiously he rolled over.
I don't think your daugher is behind but it is a good idea to set a precedent now and get her on her tummy as much as you can. And don't feel like a bad mommy if she cries a bit- you have her best interests in mind. Good luck!

My 3 month old isn't yet - I guess it'll happen when they're good and ready. In days of old, when babies were put on their tummy to sleep - development milestones were met earlier because the muscles developed quicker. In this day and age where babies sleep on their backs it'll simply take longer. Rest assured that it'll happen when in happens. As for tummy time - I use to have it on the floor, and my little one would scream the house down. I then started doing it on his change table where he's much happier and holds his head up and has a good look around. Alternatively, have tummy time with him on your tummy - my little one loves this form of it. Maybe if they're still not rolling by 6months I'd mention it to your HV

Typically its anywhere between 4-8 months. All babies are different. I think that due to them being on their back so much that they have little desire to roll over onto their tummies. Just continue to put her on her tummy, putting a favorite toy or 2 in front of her might help hold her attention a little longer.

Your little girl will roll over when she is ready, but since she doesn't like tummy time then she isn't behind. Try to get the bumpy that has toys on it made just for babies who don't like being on their tummy. Good Luck!
Also, a baby mirror might get her on her tummy if you lie it on the floor and she will look at herself.

I don't think she is falling behind, like everyone said every baby is different. My son is 3mths, he'll be 4 Aug 21 and he started at 2mths. If you ask me, I think his going fast on me. He also held his head. Right now, it looks like he wants to start crawling. He moves his little butt up and he pushes his little legs. He just needs to lift his stomach and he will be gone. I wouldn't worry so much yet. Just keep an eye on her. To bad she is not crazy about tummy time, my son loved it the minute I put him on his tummy. He doesn't like to lay on his back, since he learn to roll he sleeps on his tummy. I know they say it's not good but he keeps turning himself around.

My son was born 9 weeks early. He is now 5 months and just started to roll over. Although he still does not hold his head up. Just give her time.

My babies didn't like tummy time either but they both started walking around 8 months old. All babies are different. I was one of those mothers who worried about everything(had a whole list of questions(worries) on doctor visits) Relax and enjoy your baby. Your pediatrican will tell you if he/she suspects anything. Most of babies all catch up when they are ready.

My 6 month old still doesn't roll over very often. All babies develop differently. Your baby may be just focusing her learning on sounds or something else. She'll do it when she's ready!!

My son did it at about 5 months. He hated being on his tummy...so he went back to front first...all babies progress at different times...she's not behind. You may find that she has done something else faster.
