You sound just like me. Maybe we should go to group therapy or something.
I am an intelligent person. And I know a healthy food choice over a junk food choice, but somehow I can't seem to stay away from the junk. And when I do, and have healthy foods, I tend to overeat THOSE foods, too.
It is not an easy battle.
Good luck to you.

LOL! You sound almost totally opposite of me! I eat, and eat and eat to try to gain weight & I cant! It is really frusturating for me! LOL! But eating is ok, it is just what you eat, actually eating all the time in small amount is supposed to be good for your weight! :) If you feel as though you are eating WAY TO MUCH try drinking water instead of eating, or as I said just eat light things, rice cakes or popcorn cakes, they have some really good tasting ones now! Hope this helped!

we all would love to know the easy way out of this problem.. but when it comes down to it there is none.. its motivation.. we all have it we just need something to trigger it... for you food is your motivation.. you need to find something else to motivate you, take your mind off of food.. like me i get excited just thinking about food but when it really comes down to it im probably jus tbored or THIRSTY did you know that 30% of the time that you think you are hungry.. you are really just thirsty? how about that for a nice slap in the a*s*S!

Chew gum. Do something as to give your mouth a preoccupation. Or smoke?
