Are Judeo-Christian parents bigots when they take a stand against teaching our children that homosexuality is "normal," when the Scriptures those parents believe in tell us it is an abomination to God and "goes against nature?" the basis for "unalienable Rights" being "entitled?" to the "morals and values" of the Democratic candidates, and who is supporting them.
The more liberals speak, the more votes they loose. Polling data continues to show that people committed to their faith are abandoning the Democratic Party in historic numbers.
Does this mean it should be ok to force a curriculum depicting the sin of homosexuality as natural and normal, and which does not violate "the Laws of Nature and imposes this immorality on children of faith-based parents? What liberals hope, is that Americans will be complacent, silent.
The leadership of that community is obsessed by gay rights and abortion.

Are You an American Liberal?
If you have paid any attention at all to politics over the last couple of decades, you know that Republican politicians have spent an entire generation attacking liberals. However, unless you were paying close attention, you probably did not notice that those Republican politicians never bothered to actually define what a liberal is. They just attacked liberals, confident that the American people would follow along with their rhetorical sleight of hand, and not ask the question: "What is a liberal, anyway, and how come you spend so much time attacking them?"

Now, with the Republican Party in control of all three branches of the federal government, Americans are realizing how destructive the right wing Republican agenda is. So, Americans are beginning to question the partisan propaganda that has come from Republican politicians and their insider army of right wing political consultants. Americans are finally starting to ask themselves, "Am I one of those liberals that the Republicans keep talking about?"

Are you? Could you be an American liberal? The chances are pretty good that you are. After all, the Republicans say that everyone who doesn't agree with their radical right wing agenda is a liberal. But, it's best to be sure, so we have assembled the following list of questions so that you can test yourself to see if you really are an American liberal.

1st off - I'm not gay... "Not that's there's anything wrong with that"

2nd - Your Biblical views are not the same as everyone elses. And after reading what you wrote, I had to ask myself who is really trying to hijack who? Am I the only kid that remembers who we thought the gay kids were??? Those kids are tortured daily - it's not like Highschools across America have kids coming out - but what is wrong with teaching tolerance? Since forgiveness obviously has it's price?

3rd - Yes - The Judeo-Christian community is extremely bigoted when it comes to rights of others. Why should your belief system be better than someone elses? Your faith is not 100% right - if it were there wouldn't be 100's of different faiths... And since you violated the marriage rights for Gays, I'm sure God will be proud of his non-judgemental followers....

People that are commited to their faith, that support a President on a war that was unjustified from the start - showed they aren't committed to their faith, they just agree with a person that shares the same belief system.... and THAT is scary......

I'd like to see the Gay community come in and force a ban on Christian Divorces, since marriage is so important in the eyes of a church....

No.

But only because the unorganized liberals are trying to stand up to the Republican propoganda machine, and doing it in the most *** way possible. It's not wrong to teach your kids opposite the Bible if you don't believe in Christianity, but on the same token, it's not wrong to teach them by the BIble if you do.

The "Laws of Nature" don't apply if you're acting on what comes naturally to you. It isn't fair in this culture to hold one set of beliefs above the other, and if a party chooses to do so they're on the right track to becoming facist. That doesn't mean I'm gay, I just believe my moral compass only applies to me.

To relate that to the Democrats, they want a piece of the Republican pie more than they're willing to develop their own platform and stick to it. So no, they aren't hijacking, they're comprimising.

Also, I don't even think homosexuality should have any merit as a political issue.

Actually, the community of "liberals" are obsessed by FREEDOM and the right not to be discriminated against by prejudiced bigots. That's the gyst of it. Just as they don't want to be mistreated, they stand for freedom of religion as well, so members of various religions can feel free to worship as they please in THE LAND OF THE FREE. It is ONLY the Christian right who seem to think they have a right to treat people of various backgrounds however they wish, discriminating against people and mistreating others according to their belief system. Yes, Judeo-Christian parents are bigots if they choose to treat gay people as anything other than human beings. It doesn't mean you have to like them, it just means you have to be civil and treat people as equals in the eyes of the law. Is that so difficult for you? The Scriptures don't tell anyone that gayness goes against nature. That's twisted religious propaganda. Curriculum should not have anything to do with sexuality, unless it's a class on human sexuality. Whatsmore, if there are LAWS of NATURE that exist and state gayness is not viable, then WHY ARE THERE GAY PEOPLE AND GAY ANIMALS?!?!? As for abortion, if you don't want one, aren't you happy you have the right to choose NOT to have one?

I hope your diatribe is for recreation. You are so far from the truth it is sad.

One would think that this is a topic of concern to you by the intensity of the structure. That saddens me even more.

If by chance you are some form of Christian liberal then you are like Abraham a man without a nation or a home. A man who is looking for a home whose builder and maker is God.

Social structure is fickle. What is Blue today might be Red tomorrow. Isiah said Woe into them that make evil good and good evil light dark and darkness light.

Stick to your guns

Go big Red Go

No. You're missing the fundamental point. And doing it by advocating the fundamentalist argument.

This country was founded on the belief that the government cannot enforce one set of religious values as any more correct than any other. It's in Article VI of the constitution as well as the plain text of the 1st Amendment ("shall make no laws respecting the establishment of religion").

The battle is between those who want to impose their religious values on others as a matter of law, and those who say that the government shall not legally impose one set of religious values as binding on everyone.

Liberals aren't trying to ram their values down everyone else's throats. They're just trying to prevent anyone else from doing so either.

Under the liberal paradigm, you are completely free to believe what you want and live your life the way you want. You just can't force other people to do what you want. Under the model that those who oppose liberty would enforce, you are required to follow the majority determination of what is moral, whether it conforms to your own religious beliefs or not.

Why can't people understand that freedom of choice is not a minority value, even if the majority happens to disagree with the minority's choice?

Yes. They twist the teachings of Jesus, notably on homosexuality. Liberals cry, "Jesus said to tolerate and forgive." While Jesus forgave everyone IF they sought forgiveness, he didn't condone people to keep on sinning.

Liberals are trying to make Christianity irrelevant. Take the Anglican Church... the Church of England. It's very liberal. However, no one goes. The only people who go are a few people over 75. Most are actually now converted in bars. The leftists in England have removed the Church as an influence. In the US, the Left routinely attacks the most conservative Churches and tries to paint them as evil.

I don't think they are trying to hijack Christianity. They don't want Christianity to go anywhere but away. They would prefer that people supplant God with a large central government run by overfed, overpaid, underachieving beaurocrats.

Trying? They are well on their way. Christmas is already under attack so be prepared to say happy Holiday and we will celebrate that on the 25th of Dec. Gay couples will be the new family structure.....We need to stand up and quit letting them push the majority around because the few don't like things. Democracy is rule by the majority not the whinnority.
