Virginity for a woman is defined as not having penetration by a penis.
Most people think the hymen being intact is a way to tell if a woman is a virgin or not. Howvever, most people don't know that the hymen can break from doing many athletic activities like swimming and horseback riding. Some girls don't even have one.
So all those responses that you've read so far that ignorant people have said isn't true. Fingering can lead to bleeding but it doesn't mean you lost your virginity. There has to be penetration to lose your virginity.
So yes you are still a virgin if a guy fingers you.

If you mean phisically the person is virgen (i guess) but I think virgeness have only sense in mentally or psycollogical area and from that point of view the person is not virgen,

no you just hadn't had intercourse. Its the same with oral sex. I wouldn't worry bout it though. Its a form of safe sex if its just the finger.

only IF he doesn't break ur hymen. a hymen can be broken by any object, not just a penis. and if u go by the "official" definition of a virgin, than if it breaks, ur not a virgin.
