I'm renting a Uhaul trailer and I have to get and adapter for the lights to work? I don't know what its called or what it is. Can you help me please? Give me product names or anything at all.

it depends on how the trailer is wired. the most common non commercial type is a 4-wire. it is a black molded end with 4wires. 1 is white and is commonly your ground, then you have green, black and yellow, which are turn, running and brake lights. the white one will have a male-end (exposed metal) while the other 3 will be female.

Do you just have a different receiver on your vehicle than what the trailer has? If so, all you need to do is look for a store near you that sells travel (camping) trailers and supplies. They will have an adapter. Actually, I'm surprised the Uhaul store doesn't have one.

Go to AutoZone, it's where I got mine... they have all the types.
