I TOTALLY believe in that quote. Its actually a true thing. Friends are meant to be close, but ur enemies if they are far how will you know what they are planning to do to you next. If you have them closer more chances of you keeping a tab on what they are thinking and its a way to make sure they can't harm you..

ehh sorta i keep my freinds behind me, they put up with the farts but they get a kick azz freind that keeps her phone on 24's a day 7 days a week and will defend them to death. but i always keep my enemies in front of me so i can see every movement n case they try something

I tried that and it backfire. So keep your friends close and change your number and never associate with the enemies again. They suck! If you work for them. Then skip what I just said.

definitely!!!!!!! I do beleive that 100% and it is true...... except for in some situations it is best to keep as far a distance and no communication with your enemy at all.

oh yes i do believe that quote, that quote is true you will see in life that does seem to happen expressly when you are at school or at work. you always know what they are going trow and what they are doing.
