You have to remember that the birth control is hormones and yes it can affect how you feel. All women react different to the birth control and there can be a variety of side effects. Don't feel alone. You may want to talk to your doctor about a lower dose. Sometimes it is just a phase. If it doesn't pass then I would surely call the doctor. Make sure you keep an open line of communication with your husband. Let him know how you feel and that it is not him that is making you feel that way.
Here is a site to check out the side effects and even a $5 coupon off your next prescription. It says that oral birth control has less side effects than the patch. It says that the patch increases the risk of side effects. U may want to look into it.

There is also a Patient-Doctor Discussion Guide that may help guide you in the right direction.
Good luck!!! I am sure things will work out. I know you want them 2. You would not be asking if u did not care. I really wish you the best.

It very well could be the patch, yes. Go see your doctor. Maybe he can set you up with a different kind of patch, or birth control, all together so that you're not just wearing that thing around for no reason.

It sounds like between being busy and the patch that you need to see your doctor. Something is going on with your hormones. Don't let something like this affect your marriage, I am sure your husband probably thinks its him or something he has done. Get to the doctor, get some help! Good luck!

any thing with birth control normally is a hormone and sometimes ur body reacts in a way like low libidi to have sex. u have to go by ur gyn/ob and ask to eithe rchange ur patch or try a oral birth control pill which normally has a less dosage of the hormone. best of luck

definitely yes!!! I was on the pill for a few years when I first got married and I was not myself at all. I hated it. After I got off I slowly began to feel normal again so that"s how I know what it was. It totally almost killed my marriage. I don't think it's good to mess around with your body's hormone levels.

Hormonal birth control can severely affect libido. It sucks when this happens because now you have to decide between convenient birth control and actual sex. It is almost definitely the patch talk to your doc.

That sounds like the source of your problem. It is altering your hormone levels and that affects you desire. Talk to your doctor. He can prescribe a different level of patch or try something else. I bet you feel like your old self soon!

Guessing you have kids or other demands that sap your energy. He's always in the mood (we all are) so just get started and I bet you'll be feeling frisky, too, in a few minutes.
He's a good hubby and he needs your companionship. Good luck!
