Ok Ok, people are getting pissed so I will clarify. The backward middle east countries are like the filthy prisons... the US for all its glory is the gold bar prison: with all of its regulations, restrictions and of course "security".
Most of us just don't see the bars, we just see the gold.

i would love to go the whole hog. give me a dirty, filthy prison any day.
