Muriel's Wedding: i suppose a "chick flick" in sense of woman finding herself, finding humor and love in her negative surroundings (it's pretty hilarious.. Australian humor :D)
Love Actually: chick flick? pretty much in interesting "chronicle" of sorts of different types of love and relationships... including cheating, lying, inability to love, problems in life affecting relationships, etc. it's real cute and funny and sometimes raw i guess!
About a Boy is probably most introspective..about teen angst, lost adults, dysfunctional families...
all are quirky :)

Loved About a Boy, Liked Muriel's Wedding, ran out of patience with Love Actually by halfway through

I have seen all 3. It has been a long time since I have seen Muriel's wedding and it was only an ok movie. Love Actually really surpised me, it has a lot of cussing in it but it was very good. About a boy is good but kind of slow.

Love Actually yes a bunch of times and I really like it.

BTW I love Hugh Grant and if you do too you should see Mickey Blue Eyes.

Love, Actually is funny but has some suggestive moments. Not to be seen with parents. lol Very funny, very English movie.

I saw About A Boy. I liked it. It wasn't GREAT, but it was pretty cute. Don't know about the others
