shoulder blades back & down (make it look like you're sticking your chest out)...as silly as that sounds, it's true.
also stretch your pec muscles (that's your chest muscles)...by doing what are known as "door stretches" you can help your posture by stretching your pec maj. & pec min.....see below
Pectoralis major has 3 parts - upper, middle and lower. Use the following stretch for all 3 parts as well as subscapularis and pectoralis minor.
Stand in a suitable doorway with your feet 6 inches away from the threshold. Place your palms and forearms flat against the frame of the door way.
To stretch the upper fibres start with your thumbs level with your ears.
Whilst breathing out, let your body fall forwards so that you can feel the pull in the front of the chest. If you are comfortable, let your body hand there for 30 seconds or so.
To stretch the middle fibres, slide your hands and forearms a little further up the door frame and repeat no.4.
To stretch the lower fibres slide your hands and forearms even further up the door frame and repeat no.4.
You can make this stretch easy or hard by changing the distance your feet away from the threshold of the doorway. The further your feet are away, the harder the stretch and vice versa.

Also, strengthen your rhomboids, and lower trapezius muscles.
As stated above, squeeze your shoulder blades together and down (once again, like you're sticking your chest out).

Practice practice practice doing this kind of posture. As hard as it is at first, you WILL get the hang of it if you persist.

hope that helps!!!

As the old saying goes, and it is very true, when you are home, walk around the house with a book on your head. It works.
