Today, actually.
Someone was hammering a huge block of wood like it owed them money.
I went outside, and my neighbor Rick clotheslined me and got me in a neckbreaker. He later said "sorry" and we all had a good laugh about it.

Well, when school starts, I can sometimes have 10 -20 rude awakenings in the course of a second. lol. Honestly.

Last night. Our carbon monoxide detector started beeping around 5 am. It beeped 3 times, and then was quiet, so we went back to sleep. A half hour later, it started again. Then it stopped, and about 15 minutes later started AGAIN. Finally, we figured out that it had a low battery and was complaining about that, so we decided to pull the battery for now so we could sleep and get a new one in the morning. Let me just say that it is not obvious how to do this... after turning on the bright light, and fiddling with it for 3 minutes or so, I finally got it.... yeah. not fun.

a rude awakening is when you look at the wrinkles on your arms and your rear has gone flat, your realize that 71 has finally sliped up on you. that is a real rude awakening. make the best of it.

When me and my daugter rolled down a hill in the car. We rolled four times. The first time was completely airborne. It made me truly realize how precious life is. Now when driving I make sure that all mechanical things are functioning properly with my car. This happened last Nov. She was four months old. I broke my clavical bone. All she got was a bump on the head.... thank god! By the way....... CAR SEATS SAVE LIVES~!

about 2 hrs ago, when I awoke from my slumber. It was the most remarkable experience ever. I mean first I was sleeping right, then all of a sudden....I woke up. There goes my sarcasm again. Ehh...let me think. OK I got it. It's gonna have to be a few months back when I went backpacking/camping. One of many unforgettable voyages I must say (no sarcasm).
