No, unless you have a genetic disorder like patau syndrome when your born you'll live 3 weeks max for example. but as a date of death no.

good question there are other researches going on regarding our destiny linked to our genes.

p.s. destiny as in to become a criminal, a banker, a mathematician etc etc. Not the day you'll be hit by a bus.

no, out genes tell us exactly what we are going to look like and behave, people die of sooo many non natural things that it would imposable for a gene to determine this, however our genes may have information on how strong out organs are which could cause death, or if we are allergic to cert in things that could cause death, but there is no gene that tells when we will die

during development, cells are programmed to die in order for example to carve out the fingers, so apoptosis is somehow regulated. DNA replication loses a nucleotide or two on each round of replication due to the structure of the molecule and this essentially shortens the chromosomes and some think this is integral to the aging process.

no, because there's variables to the answer. for example, you don't know if you'll get hit by a car. also, if you're a non-smoker, or if you don't drink, if you exercise and eat right - there are many many factors to what makes someone live long. however, if your parents and grandparents had long lives, you might have a better chance at it.

luckily, my father passed the age his own father was when he died, long ago. :)

since there is no god, he dunno. it's a matter of how u live ur life. if u decide to be healthy u have a better chance of living longer than someone who has a unhealthy lifestyle provided u don't get hit by a bus. if ur family has a history of disease, then that's a consideration. stress can shorten ur life. happiness may prolonge ur life
