I am a Pakistani and a Muslim. I am very confused about my country`s reputation. Some say it`s a developing country and others say that it is a nest that gives shelter to TERRORISTS. Which one you think is it? I am not as such into politics but still i wanted to know weather we are the GOOD ONES or THE BAD ONES on the eyes of the world.

I think the US has a worse reputation than Pakistan
I feel that maybe at one time (and perhaps now) your country is home for terrorists, but what country couldnt have that on their shoulders? especially in these days....
I also feel that your country is re-developing because of all the violence your land has seen.
I think that depending on what country or what news source your listen to they will address your country as they see fit as long as it fits THEIR agenda.
I feel that all countries have good and bad people and its not black or white. I am sure MOST people in your country are good, hard working people that want peace, and just like my country (US) a select portion ruins it for the rest.

Overall...not too good. Here's why:
Pakistan secret service is corrupt and favors the Taliban. Pakistan wants to dominate Afghanistan (again). Pakistan still has problems with India regarding Kashmir. Why India suffers from terrorism but Pakistan doesn't seems to make me think Pakistan is behind it. The light sentence given to AQ Khan is troubling. Why a peaceful Pakistan needs nukes is beyond me.
It's not all bad though...To the extent Pakistan can emulate India by developing its economy, that's great. Muscharraf supports America's efforts against terrorism (but I know he's hated in Pakistan).

Hello I am your neighbour Yes, I am Indian. I don't know about your reputation in world , but as per as for India I can tell about your country reputation. Indians who visit Pakistan told me that Pakistani people are very charming & helpfull. But your overall reputation is not good due to your politicians. They try to maintain their post & for that they always try to remain the kashmir issue burning.
Your secret agency I.S.I is supporting terrorists in kashmir. thousands of people in kashmir are killed by this terrorists. How can they have good reputaion for your country?
No doubt it is not whole country's fault. & you are not told right things about this terrorists by government. Another thing Your country has no democracy. How can it be a developing country?
But I belive if India & Pakistan unite to make "Hindustan"(Old name of India & pakistan before they divide) no one can stop them for becoming world's greatest power.

The government doesn't knowingly harbor terrorists, however there are pockets of terrorist cells in isolated regions, and many of the bombers who were planning to blow up planes in England had dual English/Pakistani citizenship.

WELL FIRST OF ALL....PAKISTAN HAS BECOME THE TERRORIST FACTORY OF TODAY. ALMOST 90% OF THE TERRORISTS HAVE BEEN TO TERRORIST CAMPS IN PAKISTAN BEFORE CARRYING OUT TERRORIST ATTACKS.
PAKISTAN'S FATHER OF NUCLEAR BOMB IS ACCUSED OF NUCLEAR PROLIFERATION...WHILE IN INDIA...THEIR SCIENTIST IS MADE PRESIDENT OF INDIA. THIS WOULD GIVE U SOME IDEA OF WHAT KIND OF IMAGE PAKISTAN HAS IN THE WORLD.
IF THAT IS NOT ENOUGH....PAKISTAN IS BECOMING THE WORST EXAMPLE OF ISLAM...WITH SUNNI MUSLIMS KILLING SHIAS....THATS A VERY BAD REPUTATION....
