I'm unable to install Nero (I tried both Nero 6 and Nero 7) in my PC because it asks for Serisl Number and I really don't know what serial number it wants. I urgently need to burn a CD. Please tell me what I can do. Thankyou.

IF your computer came with a CD/DVD burner it is likely it came with software to allow you to burn, maybe even trial.
Do you have MusicMatch or Record Now or dozens of other software that might be on your computer? You don't need Nero to burn a CD, and if you don't have the serial number, then you didn't buy it or own rights to it anyways.
What type of CD are you trying to burn? Music? Movie CD? Data? Backup?

If you are using Windows XP, you can burn a data CD without Nero.
Put a blank CD into the CD drive
Click on the icon for the CD drive, and a blank window should open
Drag the files you want to burn into the window (remember you are limited to 700m of files)
In the File menu, click on "Burn now" and it will burn those files to the CD
If you want to burn a music CD, click on the Burn option in wyour Windows MEdia Player and it will walk you through making a music CD

Do not download any free serial numbers from web, they maybe contain Viruses. use perpetual box and used trustees web sites.
