I have to agree with Jet, we are not the minority in Atlanta. Although Atlanta is a melting pot, there are quite a few African Americans. Because of this there are also several organization fo empowerment in our community. 100 Black Men of Atlanta , African American Ministers Leadership Council, African American Business Link, and Atlanta Daily World (News paper) just to name a few. I feel that Atlanta, more o than any other major city in the US offers more opportunity for the "minorites." So called because of the total population Countywide, not city wide.

African-Americans in the city of Atlanta are in the majority so they are well-represented. We have a black mayor and have had black mayors for the past 2 decades, because of its black majority population. As for the rest of the metro Atlanta area there are some problems.

atlanta is one of the most dangerous and racist cities in america! they elect black politicians because they say there going to take care of the black people and end up sucking them dry, until black realize you should vote based on skin color that city will amount to anything,

Hot-lanta is the black mecca. In the Bahamas, its the One state outside of Florida we go to because of all the positive black images.

what does it matter? The country should ban Affirmitive Action because a company should not have to hire minorites if they don't have to.
