In part yes. Most Jewish Americans have a very strong connection to Israel that borders on insanity. They will defend Israel and its actions no matter what. I happen to think Israel is doing the right thing now in Lebanon but it has made many mistakes in the past. I do believe that is why Lieberman and most of the Jewish community support the role in Iraq in that it does help Israel. Even my best friend, who is Jewish, supports Israel no matter what. It’s weird but understandable considering what they have been though in recent history.

Lieberman is Jewish, yet he would not get orders from Israel. remember, Israel is weaker than the U. S.. It listens to the U. S.. (analyze the 1956 Sinai marketing campaign in case you decide on data.) Iraq has little to do with Israel. in actuality if something, that is in basic terms bigger hatred in direction of the U. S. and Israel. i do no longer think of that the conflict advantages Israel in any way.

Lieberman agrees with Bush, and the vast majority of Congress. Are they supporting the war because they're Jewish?
And your analogy about Iraq doesn't make any sense. Israel wouldn't be in the Iraq war whether the US was there or not. And Israel would still be responding to Hezbollah attacks whether the US was in Iraq or not. One is not the cause of the other.

No he does not love war, he supports the war big difference, he is American first, he is a moderate and has guts, unlike the liberal asswipes that have taking over the Democratic party, the hold my hand, be polite, hug a tree, talk real nice and appease the terrorists party. He dose not agree with the liberal party, because he no's what is at stake, our way of life and our freedom.

first Mr Lieberman is a very proud American, of the Jewish faith, he is real, he tells it like it is , he works with republicans with some issues for the betterment of this country , and when he disagrees with them he tells them , like a moderate does! half of the democrats supported the war Hillary was one of the biggest supporters of it and many others.and Hillary was the first to crucify Mr Lieberman, i don't personally agree with the war, but i wont cast the first stone. someone else already did!
