i'M LIVING IN L.A BUT I'M THINKING OF MOVING TO LAS VEGAS FOR BETTER OPPURTUNITIES .SHOULD I GIVE UP ON LOS ANGELES AND HEAD TO SIN CITY..IT SOUNDS LIKE FUN. PLEASE HELP

Las Vegas is one of the fastest growing cities in the US. But most of the new jobs are in casino and hotel related areas, in addition to construction which is constant. I have read that many moderate income people in Vegas can no longer affort a house there because prices have skyrocketed. For example, police, firemen, teachers cannot afford the new houses. So check out not only jobs but your ability to live there.

No way man, I'm from Vegas & now live in LA. Vegas is a DUMP!
Hot & SO depressing, try it for a month in late July & decide if you want to move there.

If you are over 21 Vegas is not a bad place to live. It is hard to find work if you are not 21.

Look not everyone that lives here is a stripper or a dealer. The cost of living is MUCH lower than LA. check the market in your field on Salary.com

what kind of opportunities are you looking for that you could get in vegas and not LA?? unless you're looking to be a prostitute or a table dealer... hahaha

Go for it!!, and get a place on Fremont street. Or get a place behind the Stratosphere, that part of town is called naked city.
