NO NO NO! Dont ever go out with a co worker. I made that mistake one time and we had a falling out and he was permitted to stalk me at work and in the parking lot and when I filed a police report I was told to drop it or they would fire me. More trouble that it was worth.

businesses don't like co-workers dating because if they have a falling out it can impact the business.
dating a co-worker makes a lot of sense tho, you have common experiences and an established hierarchy. a business can benefit from team work and mutual encouragement on the job.
I've done it and it's worked. all too often, one's job is demanding enough that it's almost a life style. finding someone as passionate as you about the job can be a good thing.
