A lot of people on my side think that bush is going to try and stay in office forever. I say that no republican would support bush becoming a life long dictator. Please tell me i'm right.

Bush can't do that....it is illegal, and the congress would not permit it......mush less the people.......and reasonably, why would anyone want that job for so long? It ages everyone about 20 years, and the stress is incredible

No...seriously. He'd be breaking the law if he did such a thing.
Sort of like what would happen if he tried to implement wire tapping without judicial consent. Oh...wait a minute.

I seem to recall there was a particular angle in how he could.
It had something to do with him invoking martial law in the country and postponing elections until all was safe. Who knows, if he reprises his July 4th, 2004 speech daring the terrorists to attack us again, he might get his wish. Maybe that is why he hasn't let Osama get picked up yet?

Vote Third Party! Take the country back from those criminal Republican/Democrat Lobbyists!

I am liberal. And Pretty sure NO president can stay in office for more than 8 years no matter how bad or good. Where did you get this from??

I used to worry about Bush trying to stay in office, but with his popularity in the toilet, I bet he's pretty demoralized and wants to retire. However, I'm not sure about Cheney, Rove, and the rest. I wouldn't be too surprised if they tried to pull some funny business. After all, they already stole two elections, what do they care about the Constitution?

then you know a lot of ignorant people. It's not possible nor would he want to. On the other hand hillary wants to steal more stuff out of the white house so billy may be sleeping in the residence again.

Why not worry instead about whether the moon is made of green cheese? It would be a more productive use of your time.

No real American would want that buffoon in office anymore than he has to. Hopefully he'll get shot by Cheney on a hunting trip before that.
