I'm baby-sitting and the 19 month year old won't go to sleep>She keeps crying.

#1 Check and change diaper if sioled!!
#2 Give the baby a fresh bottle and/or some infant cereal if it is in their allowable diet.
#3 Try burping and rocking the baby simultaneously.
#4 Check if the baby is too cold or hot, if it's cold put some warmer clothes on. If it's hot, remove the unnecessary clothing.
#5 Maybe it just wants to be held closely to feel safe and secure.
#6 If after you have done all of the above and it is still crying, then I would suggest you call the parents, the baby may be starting to get sick and needs to be seen by the doctor.

Check to see if baby has a wet diaper if so ,c hange it. Check to see if baby might be hungry, if so feed or give water or juice. Lastly, hum or sing to baby, it will feel the vibration from chest and this is very comforting for baby. Also, check for diaper rash, this can be very painful for babies. And like one poster said, get off of here and spend some time with baby

Maybe a good idea might be to get off the computer so you can give some attention to the 19 month old.

check and see if the baby is hungry, wet, wants to play, or some things like that. if none of those things are wrong with the baby, its just sleepy. just let the baby cry and eventually it will fall asleep.

what you could do is talk her for a walk. walk hr around the house or take her to the park all babies love leaving the house at times

have u checked if she has wet herself?fed her etc? has she got a temp? if u have checked all of this and she still wont sleep ring her ma and ask her advice it's probably nothn to worry about but best to phone and get advice.

hold the baby in your arms and rock it back and forth and try singing and shhhhh hehe it may help or try holding bady and walking around the house
