It doesn't happen to many woman, I was one the unfortunate ones to experience it, my regular OB/GYN was not helping me in finding the cause so I switch to a fertility specialist, I had 3 miscarriages with the first doctor, one with the new doctor that when doing my D&C that is when they scrape your uterus to get rid of the fetus she decided to sent it to a pathological exam, that way they found out what was wrong. I am happy to say I have 2 beautiful 2 1/2 years old.

Unfortunately I'm sorry to say, but if you are prone to miscarriages (your body's own natural way to dispel a fetus which is not viable), your chances of having three (3) miscarriages in a row are highly probable. Only your Doctor would know for sure.

Good Luck.....Have a lovely rest of the day.

Three or more miscarriages, even if not in a row, generally indicates a need for evaluation by a high risk OB/GYN. I would be concerned about an incompetent cervix, or another medical problem belonging to the mother. Evaluation is needed at this point by a specialist.

depending on your family history. Very likely. I know that i have to be careful. Hell i'm pretty lucky i'm here. My grandmother had 10 miscarriages between my aunt and my mom. a couple were twins the rest single babies. If you still want to try and have a baby go to your ob/gyn and get tested to see if there is anything wrong with you. have your guy do the samething. and if there is anything wrong they can give you suggestions on what you can do to make it easier. Just dont give up if you really want a kid. Two things you can do if you cant have kids is adopt. or have someone you know and trust carry the baby for you.

It is quiet possible. I don't know the exact percentage. My sister had 2 miscarriages within 6 months of each other. She was told by the doctor that she is healthy, and that she probably did not give her body enough time to heal.

I am sorry to say but the chances are not good about this. However, you might try a Chinese remedy made from Angelica to improve chances for conception. In Canada they were doing some work using steroids and antihistamines as some women seem to reject the ovum. Angelica has been used in China for a very long time, if used on a regular basis, it improves vascularity, and adhesion to the womb of the ovum. Needless to say, most herbals are not researched nor approved by the FDA but from my experiences in China, it seems like a possible treatment.

3 in a row indicate a problem. You may need to see a fertility doctor. I have heard that after you have 3 in a row reguardless you are high risk if you become prego. I would say to talk to your OB/GYN and ask them if you should be seem by a specialist. Goodluck to you

It is very possible. Anyone with this problem really should talk to a doctor though. It does happen, there are plenty of women who have had multiple miscarriages, but they should really talk to someone who specializes in fertility before they keep trying.

Unfortunately for some it is a huge reality. I know a woman who was pregnant 8 times and only has 2 children. It's horribly sad. She even carried twins for 6 months then miscarried... =(
