I don't know if it's just me, but every year around this time, I notice more cops on patrol and hiding out to catch speeding cars.

I live in NJ, but do any of you notice this wherever you live?

i know in my town the cops do not have a quota. they do patrol more but because it is summer and crime is up so patrol has to be up. Now there is a county that is noturious for being a speed trap right next to mines and they dont have quotas but they have a zero tollerance policy

I asked one of my friends in law enforcement. He told me that they used to have to abide by the quotas, but now their allowed to write as many as they want.

yes, each month they have to have a certain number so yah, be careful at the end of the month, they loose the donuts and become SUPERCOPS.

NYC has it, and NJ too i think
