No. The job of President of the United States is significantly more complicated than any of us will ever know. He also has access to information that we'll never see. This is how presidential decisions are made. But, since we don't know all the facts, we think it's stupid. Where President Bush is different from past Presidents and other politicians is in how he expresses himself and his personality. Most politicians are professional lawyers and have the ability to BS people into believing everything coming out of their mouth. Sometimes this is interpreted as being confident and "intelligent". Personally, I can't trust a man with an overly polished speaking ability. It's kind of like a used car salesman, you can just feel the lies hitting you right in the face. I very much prefer the words from a man like President Bush because I feel he is being more truthful. Remember, he is limited in what information he can disclose. If he says the wrong thing, security can be compromised and Americans can be harmed in places anywhere in the world.

We should support our President, even if we don't fully believe in the actions America is taking in other parts of the world. President Bush's war on terrorism is keeping that hell out of our homeland

We have to take the battle to them, or they'll bring it to us.

Whenever he speaks you can see that he is either reading from a script that someone else wrote or he says umm a lot until he can come up with some very bad choice of words. I don't know if he is stupid but he allows his life to be controled by others and that is not a smart thing to do.

Yes, actually, I do. I was watching the news last night (about the whole raised security level) and I watched a 30 second clip of him giving a speech about the matter. Honestly, I think he said a total of 10 words, and even the people giving the news were indirectly bashing him. It was funny. He abuses the use of dramatic pauses.

No, but i think he pretends to be a little under average mentally in order to get his opponents to make mistakes they think he won't see.

It called being sly.
