I have this brain teaser to work out.
I know its not Fishes, what else could it be?

It's so funny, I said "fishes" on my podcast and my friend tried (TRIED) correcting saying it was fish...

After a long debate and research, I found out fish is used plurally for one type of species (i.e. "A school of fish"), but fishes is used for multiple species (i.e. "Many fishes in the sea").

Fish is already plural. Its one of those words that it can be for singular or plural.

"fish" is what is called a "count noun" like "sugar". Any noun that can infer both singular and plural is a count noun.

it's fish if they are all the same type
