It is not safe to donate blood while pregnant because the placenta and your fetus depend on you for their blood supply. Salicylic acid is aspirin, and it thins the blood. This can harm baby and placenta, and you if you begin to bleed, it could be much more dangerous for you and your fetus.

Donating blood when you are pregnant depletes your body (and your baby) of everything that blood carries - oxygen, water, nutrients, etc.
As for salyicylic acid, it is a blood thinner, and that can lead to bad side effects for the blood flow that the baby needs (see above statement).

I don't know the answer to giving blood, but salicylic acid (asprin)has been linked to Reyes' Syndrome in children.

no they won't let you. For some reason like you could get a infection form the needle and that can go to the baby and all types of things can go wrong. Alot of people get light headed after giving blood and I know that is not good for the baby. Well goodluck

You are not to donate blood during pregnancy. Even if you went to try and give blood they would turn you away, it's unsafe
