when i stared to like him he started to be less intersted.
then i knew that he is open & social with many other girls.

This reversal happens in most relationships regardless of gender. I am a male and I am in your position. The guy she loves is physically abusive. Perhaps some people have problems accepting respect just as some other have problems showing respect.
