I have read that she should have her solids for Breakfast, lunch & dinner and bottles in between. It seems like I will be feeding her all day long?

I asked this same question to my pediatrician because I felt the same way...like I was feeding my baby all day long. My doc put it into perspective for me by telling me to look at it like I'm feeding him three meals a day with "snacks" in between. The doc gave me this schedule:

6 am- solids for breakfast with or followed by a bottle
10 am- 6 ounce bottle for snack after nap
12 pm- solids for lunch
2 pm- 6 ounce bottle before nap
5 pm- solids for dinner
7 pm- 6 ounce bottle before bed

Doing it this way put him on a more "human" schedule. As he got older (closer to 12 months) I started to replace the mid-morning and mid-afternoon bottles with a snack that included a sippy cup of milk and fruit or crackers. I eventually phased out the wake-up and bedtime bottles. Their nutritional needs seem to change somewhat dramatically after 12 months where it is important that they get more of their nutrition from solid foods than formula or, after 12 months, cow's milk.

Anyway, it's a good question and I hope this helps!

When I started my son on solids at 6 months I fed him the cereal and fruit and followed that up with breastfeeding. I started the cereal only once a day so he was still getting mostly milk. As I increased his solids (or should I say, as he increased accepting solids), I was giving him less breastmilk during the meals but continuing between meals, first thing in the morning, and at night.
I'm sure it would work the same way with formula.

no. some bites the 1st few days then you definitely can slowly progression to greater. spoon a sprint out right into a bowl so which you dont waste the finished jar then refrigerate the rest. my son has been ingesting solids for roughly 2 months and he eats a sprint over 0.5 of a jar with a 4 ounce bottle of formula. provide your toddler a three-5 ounce bottle together with his nutrition. provide him some sips together with his nutrition then enable him end it after he's complete together with his solids. i began out off with solids as quickly as an afternoon (oatmeal with bananas at breakfast), then after some week two times an afternoon (culmination or vegetables for lunch) and then three times an afternoon (culmination or vegetables or rice cereal for dinner). as he gets to 6 or 7 months you may attempt some meats. gerber oatmeal and bananas is a robust starter nutrition, my son loves it. additionally eco-friendly beans, applesauce, pears, candy potatoes, carrots, and easy rice cereal. i mixture some applesauce into the rice cereal each and every from time to time and he loves it. make certain you persist with the jars that say degree a million for a minimum of a month then you definitely can purchase some degree 2's additionally

How old is your baby? Feed your child solids whenever she/he seems interested. Bottle at bedtime and in the morning is likely. All babies are different, trust your motherly instincts and you'll grasp her concepts soon enough. Goodluck!

I fed my son his solids and then followed them with the bottle immediately. It's important to give the solids first so they don't get too full from the formula.

I'm with Jacob's Mommy...I gave my boys a few ounces of formula after they were finished eating their solids...to sort of "rinse things down". They got large bottles between meals.

NEVER put cereal in the bottle. Try the solids first, while she's hungry, but not too hungry. It may take lots of tries.

it depends how old your baby is. after your baby is 6 months old, you can begin to ween it off of the bottle and feed it table food. the table food MUST be mushy. somethign like mashed potatoes or previously chewed or grinded up in some way. i know sounds GROSS but thats how it goes.
