You don't have to be a certain age to have a baby. How old are you? Usually people wait until they are through with school and on the way to marriage. Its a personal preference. Sometimes people have babies that they didn't plan. How long have you and your girlfriend been together?
I'm thinking by the way you asked that question that you have a few more years before your ready for a baby.

To HAVE a baby the pair must be producing sperm and an egg. This usually happens around 14 for the female and 15 for the male.

However, to properly CARE for a baby the pair must be mature and settled. Hopefully in a serious relationship where you will be able to teach the baby important aspects of life.

It depends on whether you mean physically capable or ready. If your bodies have fully matured you are capable, but if your minds haven't fully matured and you aren't in a living position to where you could successfully raise a child, you need to think about some kind of birth control. My husband and I are newly married, but I will continue using birth control until we are financially stable and are living in a house of our own. Your child wants a happy and comfortable life as much as you do. Don't consider a child until it is the right time for you.

It's not so much of an age thing as it is a maturity level and an able-ness to take care of and provide for said kid. I know of a few people that are more than old enough to have kids, but they lack common sense, moral responsibility and have no means to provide for the kid but yet they keep producing. You don't have to be rich or well off, but it ain't cheap raising kids. You have to be able to give more love and attention to them then anything else you have ever had in your lives!

its not a matter of age although its not very good on womens body's to have babies at a young age if you wanna have a baby i suggest that you be financially ready and that you are financially stable babies are very very exspensive and you have to love eachother you don't wanna have a kid with somebody your not sure your gonna wanna spend your whole life with if you wana have a kid wait a few years after you have been with that person and that your confident she is the one think about that first before you think about having a baby and if you are a teenager you should think about being a teenager not trying to take care of a baby and be an adult enjoy being a teenager well you still can it won't last forever you know

Girls/woman can get pregnant as soon as they start their period. However its not such a smart idea to have one before u are financially and emotionally ready. Ideally mid twenties (not saying younger cant be good parents) but its a very tough job for someone not mature enough.

Why would you want to have a baby. You both are still babies. Raising a child is the work on an adult or adults, and neither of you is one. Do not foist your stupitity and inexperience upon some poor child...... What ARE you thinking???

I wouldn't advise you to have any until you can spell girl and wants correctly.

Well it is a matter of what your bodies are doing, a girl must be ovulating before she can get pregnant. Hope you two are thinking clearly with your minds not your bodies :o) .
