How about a long overcoat, maybe like a leather knee-length one. Wear it done up and with a pair of knee-length boots. Underneath just some underwear. Go out for a walk (I guess this probably works better when the weather is colder), then when you get back home ask him to help you take you coat off.
That would get me VERY excited!
If you tend to wear jeans and t-shirts, then just dressing up really well (a dress, some nice shoes etc) will be a nice change - maybe just the opposite of what you normally wear.

lingerie..see-through. Like a gown that's transparent and underneath is black underwear ( thong preferably) and you don't even need to wear a bra. But put a robe on top of it all when he comes home/in/whatever. then just drop it when he gets settled...you kno0o you wanna do it! =P ( i dunno what that would be called-- maybe a seductive schoool teacher? lol)
but yea the school teacher look is good =p . Wear the long skirt, tie, and a shirt that shows cleavage, haha and a ruler might work aswel LOL.

Well, the sexiect thing like that my wife ever did was to wear a shirt from the old race team I used to drive for, and nothing else. If he has a favorite sports jersey, that might be good.
After that, it depends on his fantasies and tastes. Some guys like the nurse outfit, others the French Maid. You may lso want to think about genie of the bottle, school girl, or others like that, but for me, it would be the jersey.
Come to think of it, how can I drop hints for my wife?

I made a banner (the kind beauty contestants wear) from wide ribbon, wrote on it 'Happy Birthday Bill' (paint pens) attached a large bow, and wore just that. He loved it!

well, im a bit of a romantic, but i fall HARD for a little black dress...short...fun...tight in all the right spots...god...i love that. but then of course, you could indulge in dirty fantasies...naughty schoolgirl...or you could be teacher and give him detention...or a nurse...lots of stuff.
