What do you mean by nickname? If you are talking about Yahoo! Mail, if you want to change the name that appears to others when you send email, go to your Yahoo Mail page, click Options, then General Preferences, and under Name and Email, change the From Name.
If you are talking about the name that appears when you sign in and it says, "Welcome, So-and-So," click My Account, and next to Address/Contact Information click Edit, then you can change your name there.
