Any medicine (oral or topical) will have a "shelf life" and an expiration date at which point you risk the product no longer being at full potency to perform the job you purchased it for.

It's why pharmacies have to rotate their stock and destroy pills and antibiotic powders that they have in stock if they aren't used by a certain date.

Same goes for topical solutions and creams that have "active ingredients" which are used to cure the ailment for which they are prescribed or purchased over the counter.

Creams and ointments have an even shorter shelf life once opened.

Most "use by" or "expiration" dates will be stamped on the underside of the bottles or on the label itself and will be found along the seam of an ointment/cream tube.

the reason the toner is going lighter in color is from exposure to nature or man made easy. even however this occurs, the product remains superb no count if that is not previous the expiry date. Proactiv expires over a twelve months and a 0.5 once you will possibly purchase it, so which you would be able to no longer purely go by applying the colour in case you're. extremely go by applying once you get carry of it. :)

No. As long as it doesn't smell funny or the consitency doesn't change then you are fine. If you are worried then call the Proactive number: 1-800-879-9717 and ask them yourself.
