I have what I believe to be a light green large vintage tea pot. But in my research I've discovered that all other tea pots have a circualar closed spout. Mine is completly open. does anyone know if perhaps this is not a tea pot but some other sort of pot. It does have a lid.

One solution is to take the tea pot to the antique dealers in your area for an opinion and valuation. If you live close to one of the big bookstores, you might find several books on Fiesta Ware in their antiques and collectibles book selections. Look at it as a free library unless you intend to buy the book. Many local libraries now have extensive collections of books on antiques and collectibles and may be a good source of information.

Are you sure that you have thoroughly explored the internet? I'm betting that there is at least one online forum dealing with Fiesta Ware. If you can locate it, you can solicit the expert help of collectors.

Good luck with your search for information.

You might use your search engine to look up the Fiesta ware sites that might have your pot pictured. If not, take a trip to the library, there you should be able to find several books on Fiesta Ware. Good Luck!
