Whatever it takes it what it takes. But they won't resort to swimming suits. Too many fat businessmen for that to ever happen, lol. But, if giving up water, shampoo, etc., is what they want, it is a small sacrifice to help secure our flights.

Airplanes are the property of the airlines and have to follow rules set by the government, if you don't want to follow there wierd rules then don't fly. I don't understand why they don't put the security check point as soon as you get to the airport that way you can purchase liquids but you have to purchase them at the airport. I think this is only temperary until they can figure out a way to detect the chemicals they are looking for. For me it isn't going to change my travel plans at all but I will have to pack my clothes differently, and I'm going to England so I cannot have a carryon on the way back.

Why are people SO upset about restrictions on airlines? Yesterday, OK - those people were unexpectedly inconvenienced. But, now, the public has been informed of the restrictions and had time to make allowances.
It's for our own protection. Why the outrage? Do you want to go back to times when it was legal to carry firearms and other weapons on board?
It's an increasingly dangerous time with increasingly horrid terrorists with no regard for their lives let alone OUR lives on the loose. What needs to be done for my protection, without an enormous intrusion into my private life, I have NO problem with.

That is what it is coming down to, I'm going to drive instead, when you figure in your time at the airport, in some cases it would have been easyer to drive. We must stay one step ahead of those TERRORISTS, I can't even think what will happen next, I pray nothing, but "they" are not giving up, never. Keep your eyes open, but who do we trust????
